Erik Scher, PhD

Erik is Chief Commercial Officer, leading Koloma’s partnership strategy and offtake execution. Erik has held a variety of senior leadership roles in energy, petrochemicals, and cleantech companies over the last two decades. He was an Operating Partner at True North Venture Partners, where he held executive/Board roles in chemicals technology licensors, hydrogen producers, and hydrogen consumers. Erik co-founded Siluria Technologies, where, as COO and President, he drove development and scaling of Siluria’s olefins technology, including multiple strategic investments, commercial partnerships, and numerous commercial plant licenses. He holds a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Rice University and a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
