Christian Garcia serves as a Partner and Managing Director at Breakthrough Energy Ventures. Mr. Garcia began his career in the aerospace industry as an R&D engineer developing next generation spacecraft and Boeing’s Delta IV rocket program. He later served as Director of Strategy at Honeywell Aerospace. Mr. Garcia transitioned to investment banking and venture capital where he has focused on climate and sustainability investments since 2008. Mr. Garcia holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
